Our Story
Michael Mallouk and Jack Denzel co-founded GLC Payments in 2020 while living together in college at the University of Kansas. What started as one ATM in a fraternity house basement rapidly grew into a premier nationwide ATM operation by 2023. As the business scaled and established a strong foothold in convenience and retail stores, bars, restaurants, and other businesses, the team gained firsthand exposure to the credit card processing and the effects on their merchants - and what they discovered was alarming. They saw an industry plagued by deceptive practices: hidden fees buried deep in statements, sudden rate hikes pushed through multiple times a year, and a general lack of transparency that left merchants in the dark. It was clear that far too many payment processors were taking advantage of their customers and putting profits over people.
Those experiences sparked a vision: to create a payment processing and merchant services company that does business differently. One rooted in customer education, integrity, and genuine partnerships. GLC Payments was built to empower merchants—offering cost-effective, secure, and efficient solutions while ensuring every client fully understands what they’re paying for and why.
